Attack Squirrel

On our first day in our new home we discovered that not only did we inherit a magic kit, a rock collection and a pink princess cup (discovered in various cabinets and closets) but our rent also apparently grants us the use of a valuable security measure- an Attack Squirrel. We first became aware of his presence when both a neighborhood cat and neighborhood dog wandered into our front yard at the same time. Suddenly, a blur of red and brown came streaking down the tree, tail waving and teeth chattering in clear warning to get off the lawn. Both cat and dog advanced slowly toward the tree, but Attack Squirrel held his ground and demonstrated various threatening poses. We are convinced he knows at least one and probably several styles of martial arts. At any rate, the cat and dog left and Attack Squirrel retreated to his lofty perch. We have seen him several times since then in our tree. He lets us get very close and is nonchalant about our presence. Gabriel and Elijah like to watch him out of the front window and both of them make little clicking noises in imitation of our Attack Squirrel. Marc feels strongly that Attack Squirrel is a title and not a name- that we should be calling him "Benji the Attack Squirrel" for example. If anyone has any suggestions for a name for Attack Squirrel we would welcome the assistance.

  1. Squirrel Update-
Although we received many good suggestions, the winning name is Attila the Attack Squirrel. This name was chosen for both alliteration and historical reference.
    Thanks everyone!
