Party Time

Benjamin turned one while we were in Utah so we had a little family party. Gabriel and Elijah have certain requirements for a birthday party. It is not a party unless it has 1. presents 2. cake or cupcakes 3. balloons and 4. party hats. FYI: Walmart does not carry party hats. Zurchers party supply on the other hand has an overwhelming selection.
Anyway, an egg hunt was our first party activity. Some eggs had a few pieces of candy, some had bandaids and some had bouncy balls. For babies Benjamin and Liam there were oversized eggs with little cars. Despite the coldish weather, the egg hunt was a big hit.

After that we had amazing cupcakes made by Uncle Johnny. Can I just say, they were possibly the best cupcakes I've ever had?

Finally, there was present-opening and a lot of playing around.

I want to give a big thanks to Lora for taking so many cute pictures and for being, in general, all-around awesome. It's never truly a party without her. In fact, I think Aunt Lora should be number 5 on the twin's list of necessary party ingredients.
