It's Autumn Time

To officially kick off our enjoyment of the fall season, the boys and I headed to Patterson's fruit farm for some apple cider donuts and a gorgeous 1.5 mile nature walk. We got to see wildflowers still in bloom but also the first leaves of the season turning colors. Many thanks to my friend Meghan for meeting us there with her little girls. We were able to chat and enjoy our donuts, although they had to leave before our little hike. The boys had a great time although they were not as enamored of the wildflowers as I was. They preferred the leaves, corn stalks, mushrooms and, of course, rocks. Here are some pictures from our first 2012 Autumn adventure:

  2. I'm really missing Patterson's this year...haven't found any good apple picking where we are. Also really missing you guys...
