This week brought the first lovely warm sunny day of the year in which we could actually go outside without jackets and just play. My intent was for the boys to just play on the driveway and stay out of the mud. This worked for a little while but I had to run into the house for a second and of course when I came back out they had thrown all of their toys into a mud puddle. Oh well. I was still just so glad we could be outside together even if they ended their outdoor excursion by throwing dirty snow and mud at each other.
Here are some pictures of the happy pre-mud time. When Gabe walked outside he exclaimed "Mommy! It's so light!" I wanted to say, "Yes. See that big glowy circle up there? That's the sun." It's been too long Mr. Sun. Welcome back.
Yeah for sunshine and playing outside! I am definitely a fan of both!
