Postmodern Architecture

Maybe I'm weird, but I'm completely fascinated by toddler construction projects. Maybe it's because there is something inherently interesting in something that it often created for the sole purpose of being destroyed. Maybe it's the bright colored blocks. Maybe it's the precarious nature of these little buildings. I'm not sure, but I love seeing the little cities that are built and destroyed in a matter of minutes on our living room floor. I captured few before their untimely demise, although several more were gone before I could get a picture. I think they compare favorably to some postmodern highrises.

  1. Ditto. Toddler towers take temporary art to an extreme, both in beauty and precariousness.

BTW, I think there's a lot to be said for temporary art. For one, inhibitions fly out the window when you don't have to worry about whether or not others will approve, and can just create with abandon. :)
